Saw a stranded estate last night with what looked like the dreaded handbrake locked on problem.

It was in the Glasgow Airport multi story car park around 8pm. It was being man handled down the spiral ramp by two breaksown jeeps, dollies under the front wheels and skid plates. :eek:

wasn't anyone on here was it?

Wonder if they'd tried disconnecting/reconnecting the battery?:p

Stuart - Hadn't thought of that, but it ought to be made a sticky perhaps.

It's a modern version of advice to owners of many BMC/British Leyland cars back in the '60s when the engine just stopped "Try tapping the fuel pump with a small hammer" - especially MGs - usually worked.
