Considering a Tiguan to replace my company Passat as I prefer the high driving position, and I think the styling on the new R-line looks really good.
However as I do high mileage, I would like to go for the Auto box.
I took a test drive in a 2.0TDi 140 Auto and I have to say, I was really impressed with both the handling and performance, considering the class of vehicle.
However, I think just a little more power would be useful, as the 140BHP version was a little strained at times. I notice there is the option for a 170HP version but it's not offered with the Auto box in the UK.
Does anyone know if this is likely to change in the near future?
