Hi Guys
I'm not sure if this is the right place for this thread so mods feel free to move it if it's in the wrong place.
I've been trying to find out if a MK2 Gold gearbox will mate up to a MK1 engine and bell housing but haven't managed to find any firm opinions on it. I've seen pictures of both boxes and they look exactly the same but I haven't had a chance to get a look at them side by side. From what I've seen it looks like it should be a straight swap but I figured I'd ask the pro's before I go and buy a gearbox that might not fit. :aargh4:
