hi
i've got probs with the climatronic control in my 1997 sharan (i can only get hot air when i open the vents, even with everything turned off. the air con is apparently working, the flaps are all apparently working) and i've been told that the fault lies with the ecu in the climatronic control system.
it seems you cannot simply replace the ecu, but have to buy the complete unit for a whacking 700quid plus VAT.
does anyone know of any companies that may be able to rebuild the ecu? everyone i've tried so far can only deal with engine and brake ecu.
failing that any other suggestions greatfully received.
