I would be wary of these speculative renderings - in particular, the middle one looks like the Shooting Brake concept car from 2005, an entirely different vehicle.

Its actually on the Audi website now with final pictures. Looks ok, would love to get my hands on a RS1 tho if they did such a thing. Would have to be well priced though.

I do not think they will do an RS1 they have not done an RS3 yet - I would buy one if they did :(

The pictures on www.audi.co.uk (http://www.audi.co.uk) at the moment are of the metroproject concept car - although judging from the spyshots of A1 prototypes the production version will be very similar.

Not sure about an RS1, but there are strong rumours of an S1 with a 180bhp 1.4 TFSI engine. Fast enough? ;)

thanks for that picture. It really gives us a more accurate image of what the car will look like. I love the front...perhaps other photos might convince me? :biglaugh:

To be honest though, the headlamps look like something on the new A7 or A8 and not the A1. But who knows? :D
