A good price

Hi, first ever post on the forum, a friend is selling an '05 1.9 Tdi Elegance 130 with 88k miles for about £6k, is this a good price and is there anything in particular to look out for?

Damp carpets, cvj noise, climate unit fully working, alternator pulley clutch seizure, cambelt change before 80k or it's £450 to you sir, drop link bars, and clacking CV joints.


Price wise it's top endish, but given there aren't many of them, and it is fully loaded and a great car to own, if you buy it join Briskoda, there's more info over there as it's dedicated Skoda rather than VAG, always best to have 2 ports rather than one in a storm.
