Fixed or removable tow ball ?

I'm about to pick up an Octavia with rear parking sensors. Anybody have any ideas if a fixed tow ball would be OK or do I need to go the expensive way and buy a removable. I'll be towing a caravan.
Any help would be much appreciated.
