hard to find one lowered 35mm but this is just on coilies so its been lowered as much as possible. I wouldnt bother with 17s not a good choice.. you`l have to have a very low profile tyre (expensive).. probably get rubbing when u turn the wheels @ the front hence need spacers.. I had 16s on my polo .. personally the best choice mate.

17’s need to run 205/40 17’s and they are just too big for a Polo 6N or 6N2, it makes them feel very odd and in my opinion, look weird as well. Even 16’s don’t work too well but are acceptable if run on 195/40 16 tyres which are rare and expensive.

I have seen and driven them with 17’s, that’s why I know I don’t like it.

hi,

i had 17'' on standard suspension looked odd and used 2 rub like mad on front wheel arches removed them but engine bay got very dirty so ended up selling them i think 16'' would be perfect withought lowering if u aint fussy

depends what tyres you had, sounds like wrong tyres size as you shouldnt get any rubbin with 17z especially not lowered unless they where wide maybe 7.5j ?
