My car, Passat 2.0 TDI Sport DSG has just been in to the dealer and had to stay there for a few days whilst they fixed the keyless system - see other posts.
Because they weren't due to keep the car they told me that VW would provide a hire car fre of charge.
I was given a lift home and waited for Europcar to contact me. They phoned and said they would deliver a Passat or equivalent - possibly a Vectra which would have been OK.
They delivered me a Chevrolet (Daewoo) Tacuma - the worst car I have ever driven.
This can't reflect well on VW; I actually refused to drive the car as luckily I'm off work for a few days and could use my wife's Alhambra.
Surely VW should be able to source replacement/hire vehicles of their own brand?
