Climatronic flashing

Hi all can anyone help with my problem please, The climatronic digital display flashes when i turn on the ignition and the blower motor would not run so i have turned the brushes 180° and got the motor to run but the display still flashes, if i hold the circulation + econ buttons together i get the fault code 4F900 which i beliver is a blower fault. does the climatic header unit need to be reset after a fix or do i have another problem with it. common fault.you will have to clear the code with a scanner or vcds best to get a new fan ive tried what you have done with no success ,i think it measures the current the motor draws which then flags a fault code and makes the panel flash
