You need help yet you provide no information regarding the car, model, year, engine code, reason for removing and what was done to the engine. The engine code is on the ID label in the spare wheel bay. Regards Peter

Im sorry I am new to Audi.

I swaped the engine as the head and pistons where broke on the old one so it was cheeper to swap it over.

It is a AHE black and there is no lights on the block in the car now cranks over and spluters a little bit but wont go.

Thanks Steven.

you should have a mark on the crank pulley that lines up with the bottom cover, what you have happening is impossible unless you have more than one mark on the flywheel, use the crankpulley mark and make sure its fitted in the right holes .....it will only fit properly in one place, but who knows if anyone has been playing with it....check it for yourself to make sure !!

So it is an A3 and AEH engine. and you post in the A6, S6, RS6 section.

Do you have a manual and did you disturb the Hall sensor G40.

not on that model its got twin coil packs...output a = cyl 1 output b = cyl 2 c=3 d = 4

VAGMAN54

even if you disconnect the hall sender on that system it should still go as it fires a spark for each cylinder after every revolution and not after alternate revolution as is normally the case with other systems
