What to look for in a V5 Golf

Does anyone know how to spot a good golf mkiv v5 from a bad one, i have recently put a deposit on one with 57,000 on the clock should be picking the car up on thursday next week from the garage, i have never owned a mark iv before and iam certainly unaware on what blatancies to look out for !! its a T-reg by the way:1zhelp:
