Rear speakers not working-new head unit

I have an after market stereo in my recently purchased 2001 A3.
I have just realised the rear speakers dont work
After a quick search of the forum it looked like i needed a PC9-401.
After finding one it says they are only suitable for Bose rear speakers.
I don't think i have Bose rear speakers, but how can i tell?
If not how can i get the rear speakers to work

Does it say BOSE on te front speakers? If not then its not BOSE.

Therefore its not BOSE. And I didn't imply you were thick I told you how to identify BOSE speakers, you interpreted that part yourself.

and i have a sub, still not bose? The sub does not say BOSE on it!
So any help as to have these working? :aargh4:
