hey people i have a prob i have a mk2 golf 1.6 which im in the process of rebuilding the engine in however i have no idea what soever on the tuning side of things any ideas of how i can make my 1.6 into a nice beast of an engine any idea appreciated :D

I'm going to be harsh but true here...

You need to drop a 1.8 or 2.0 valver in it !!!

But that probably defeats the object ?

yeh does kind of defeat the object because i have got the engine out and would rather rebuild and tune the 1.6 rather than mess about putting a 1.8 in will be putting a webber carb on anyway but was just wondering if any other ideas out there cheers anyway
