Hi ,
I am not sure if this is a problem but the engine temperature indicator has recently moved above the 90C mark it normally shows on any journey. It rises fractionally up to just below 100C and fluctuates between the 90 and 100 coupled with this the oil temperature rises fractionally aswell. The coolant is full, there are no signs of a leak, the oil looks fine and both fans kick in.
Should I be worried?

Cheers Steve

Really hope someone can help here.
The car is going from bad to worse. Just about to have the ABS Modulator replaced. Now it is over heating. This morning on the way to work it went to 110c and the DIS (which was already telling me about the ABS) started flashing and alarming about the engine temperature!! I turned the heater on to HI and opened the windows and the car soon settled back to 90c and normal.
Please please can someone advise the problem here. The coolant tank is full and there are no apparent leaks.
This car is as bad as the Rover 800 I once owned and that is saying something!! :aargh4:

This is similar to another thread out there, i had this and it was the impellor fallen off the spindle, appaently a common problem, if you can drive nice and steady at say 50 down a road without it overheating it is almost def it, will be expensive i am afraid!
