Thermostat change

Can someone tell me how long it should take an Audi garage to change a thermostat on a 2003 A8 3.7.

They didn't give me a quote and have told me it has taken 6 hours!!!!! VERY expensive as the thermostat is only £25 for the part.

I would like to argue with them but don't have enough knowledge.

Thanks for the info a very expensive thermostat change!!!

A top tip is to change it when cam belt is changed! Mine was done last month which makes it hard to swallow another 6 hours of labour!
