Advice required for A4 n00b

Hi all,
Getting my new SE Executive (143 Start/Stop) next week and was wondering if there are any helpful tips I should be looking out for or things to do.
Would it be worthwhile getting bits and bobs done via VAG COM?
If so what should I be looking to get done?

Sorry for all the (probably) repetetive questions but any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Tips - check it has all the options you ordered on. Thoroughly check the paint for scratches and defects when you pick it up.
