2.0TDI Flavors - how to tell???

Is it possible to tell the difference from the outside as to whether engine in the 2.0TDI is the 120, 143, or the 170 version?

Just wondering.

I dont think so. Same with the 1.8T in its two options. The B7 use to have a red T instead of a silver T on the boot to show the higher output I think.

The T colour is a mystery- mine is 220ps the highest output of the 2.0T on the B7 without a remap, and had a silver T before I debadged it. :confused:

Got told by an Audi tech that it was whatever colour they had in the factory available at the time in the parts bin lol
