A8 ESP Fault

Hi. Have just bought an 06 A8 3.0tdi. Love it, but every time I drive, after about 10 miles I get a message on the dash 'ESP Fault' and the ESP fault light remains on for the duration.

Anyone had a similar problem, and if so, how did they resolve it?

And could any one recommend an independent specialist for servicing in Northern Ireland.

Thanks for that. I take it that's what I get the guy with the diagnostic kit to check for. Not very tech myself.
Is it normally a indicative of a small elec problem or something bigger?
Can feel my wallet itching!!
