A3 loses power!

Car is 9 years old, its done 100,000 miles and is a 1.6. Its just had a cambelt change and service. The exhaust is blowing so that is due to be changed in a week. When i am driving the car seems to lose power (not all the time), my foot can be flat to the floor but the revs just go up slowly and cars performance is very poor. It seems to do it more when setting off or going up hill. Any ideas???

There only seems to be power after 2000rpm aswel.

i suspect your maf to be at fault and although the above thread is about a BORA, it is still relevant to your car :)
