I've had a knock from the rear nearside for some considerable time when I go over a sunken manhole and the like. Now the axle bearings are ok but I've found that my exhaust runs between the body and the axle beam. Is this correct? I think this may be the cause of the bang. Oh and its not a genuine exhaust (well it wouldn't be after 12 years would it!) I've got a TD with a AAZ engine.
