Item 4 is the N75 Valve

The other pic is it up close.

You should have 25 - 30 ohms resistance between the pins.

These pics are for the engine AGU

What is your engine code?

Here are pictures pertinent to your engine.

It's Item 2 in the pictures.

Resistance for your N75 should be between 14-20 Ohms

On the connector:

Pin 1 should be Earth.

Pin 2 should be battery voltage with the ignition on.

That's good then. What are the symptoms of your problem?

Sudden loss of power at 70mph. I can get some acceleration at the very top of pedal, nothing when fully depressed.

I replaced the MAF. Does the battery need disconnecting after doing this ?

The battery does not need disconnecting.

Have you tried doing fault a scan with VagCom?

It could be that your throttle body needs to be reset. It can be done with vagcom. Have you recently disconnected the battery or had the ECU remapped?

No, and No to questions.

thanks.

Just got off the phone to the mechanic who does my MOT. The car has been put on diagnostic tool, indicating a boost loss issue.

They have advised me to check all the pipes into the engine to look for splits. Failing that an issue with the booster (Valve - what is this?) ??

Anyone got any ideas on this ? I've not got the codes yet, car still under going MOT.
