Hi guys,

I'm going to be buying a 1999 A3 1.8 T very soon and am planning on some mods.

I wanna fit some S3 bits,, bumpers, xenon lights, but most of all I wanna put 18" alloys and lowering it a bit.

What do you guys suggest for the suspension? Eibach springs(?) alone, or shocks aswell (makes/models?)??

Here's a pic of what I would like it to look like:

I'd very much appreciate any advice/suggestions people can offer. :)

P.S. Does anyone know of an extensive A3 photo gallery? Photos of stylishly tuned A3s etc.

you will have problems making it look like that since the bodywork is different. I would start by looking on flea bay, can get 18's with tyres for less than £500.

Yeah I recently noticed the S3 has flared wheel arches :( I wish they did that on the 1.8 T!

Besides that I don't think there's any difference. I can just bolt on front & rear S3 bumpers, and side skirts. Will it look odd????

£500 for 18"s with tyres would be great!! Any suggestions?

Just type in RS6 alloys on ebay there are hundreds.
