Cam Belt Interval for 2.0 AQY engine?

I've just bought a 2001 Octavia 2.0 Elegance for the missus at 57k, so it's due for a service shortly. The dealers are telling me that the cam belt on this engine doesn't need replacing until 120k!

My Passat needs changing at 60k and some of the older engines like the ABK were at 80k, but 120k???

I think the AQY engine was also used in the Mk4 Golfs - do VW dealers take the same position re change intervals? If not, can anyone tell me what VW recommend?

Is the AQY a non-interference design? If not, 120k seems too risky to me...

Also, is the water pump driven by and/or does it lurk behind the cam belt?

Any information would be appreciated.
