Surely condensation in the oil filler cap can only mean one thing?? The car runs fine and there are no other signs of a problem - I did just top up the header and it took 1/2 litre...but it probably hadn't been topped up for months?
A little oil emulsion/mayo in the filler cap is nothing to worry about, especially if your car is mainly used for short journeys.
It is normally just atmospheric condensation.
On short journeys your engine will not get hot enough to burn it off.
I would definitely keep an eye on the water level though, just incase.
