Clutch price

Any one had there clutch done and can give me a average price and anything else that should be done at the same time as it is a big job taking the gearbox out.. My car is a 1.8 t sport 2001 and think the clutch is on its way out because I'm struggling to get in too 1st gear and reverse gear...

looks like i will b getting a new one tomorro so i can let you know then. had the same problem as you but found a hole in one of the pipes, after messing about with it it snapped in half now my clutch is perminately on the floor lol. Its getting looked at tomorro as i said so will post the reply :)

could also be the gear selector these have a tendancy to die, and is a couple of quid to fix so check that first.

Yes it is the clutch gonna cost about £300 fitted the flywheel looks OK so gonna leave that or that would be another £150 fitted..
