Hi guys I seem to be having a lot of issues with my A3 over heating, I have all the classic air lock symptoms, over heating, fan not working when stationary, no hot air coming from the heaters and only the pipes at the top of the engine getting warm.
Does anyone have any idea how to remove this air lock; the Haynes manual says to squeeze the bottom pipe until the bubbles stop coming out of the filler tank, but there isn’t any bubbles.
Some suggestions seem to be the water pump has gone, but it was only a week ago the system was fully flushed is this just coincidence? Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.
