The code you posted is a login code for making changes. It is not the PIN/SKC for the car. The PIN/SKC on an Audi A3 8P can only be retrieved by a shop using the factory tool and with access to the factory computer. I am not aware of any aftermarket tool that can get the PIN/SKC for the 8P chasis. Anyone out there who knows they can do it?

Are you sure?

i thought that the PIN/SKC is only for coding keys ?

On the function security access, i think it' s just a 5 characters code no ?

The pin is 7 characters no ?

Thanks

I can retrieve SKCs Bruce/OP however I'm not sure you require that to change the idle speed. Will look into it a little later.

Try 12233 instead of 30475.

I don't know what drugs I was doing yesterday! No, you do not need the SKC/PIN to do the adaptation for changing the RPM. I was looking for the login code but can't find the info here at home. If the 12233 doesn't work, post again and I'll try to find the login at work today.

Sorry for being such a dweeb!
