Hi

i have a 2006 A6 tdi 2litre manual, when the engine is idling, the car seems like its juddering/missing, once you take off all seems well until you stop at the lights and it feels rough!

No lights on the dash, checked the car on 2 seperate diags and car is clear - no errors!

Any ideas?

get two mass flywheel checked
get diag test done to see if any faults on engine

Hi

Car has been on two diags, both good ones and all is clear ( VAG and Snap-on )

The flywheel would be a little noisy if it was worn wouldnt it?

Cheers

disconnect the egr and retry its unlikely to be the dmf and more likely to be egr exhaust port flap separated from the spindle hence the potentiometer still operates so no fault code is stored also check idle speed fuel pressure.Quick way to confirm dmf visually is to look at the old flywheel cut out on the gearbox and if you see grey grease in this area then the inners if the dmf are leaking also the vibration can be felt through the gear lever and body of the vehicle but again its unlikely to be the dmf and banging clanking noises are most common especially when cranking
