vibration when stationary

hi there have audi a6 2.0 tdi 2005 model, it has developed a terrible vibration/ resonating noise all the time but it does it when stationary and out of gear too!! it had a new clutch and dual mass fly wheel fitted 4 months ago, {mentioned just incase} starts about 1500 revs worst around there to 2000 revs. there is also a slight rattle noise from under the bonnet, mentioned in case connected, which is connected to revs but suspect this a seperate fault, car pulls fine, but this vibration is not slight , any ideas appreciated brian harrison ps 118 000 miles

ok well its been found eventually the oil pump is wrecked big time , apparently lucky i stopped driving when i did, hope this helps someone in the future!!

I was just about to say the balance shaft on the oil pump, very well known fault on the early 2.0 Tdi PD lump. Lucky you cought it in time !
