I was told these caused the bulb warning light to activate, I take it this is not true?

I ordered them from here.

They have a small PCB on the back with 5w resisters on them. So the won't show up as a fault.

Fitting guide can be found here...

or

Better still use the fitting guide in the handbook / manual.

It's only a 5min job, just remember to get them the right way round.

Hope that helps.

For some odd reason the middle of both of those URLs has been eaten by hungry data-worms and I can't get those addresses up :(

Balls to the fitting instructions, a screwdriver and a couple fosters should be enough to get them in.

im thinking about getting these for my A3. Do they just slot in straight away? No need to edit the bulbs, resitors when you get those bulbs through the post. http://www.alltronix.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=113

Im presuming the bulbs on these are extremely small. So the whole size of this part is the size of a normal bulb? The diff with the A3 is, there is a screw instead fortunately.

I've seen a few ibis white cars and bmw 1-series with these, and it looks awesome!

Why is everyone going for bright number plates?

Most of the brightness of the number plate comes from the flash on my camera phone.

Still you can make out the nice blue effect of the LED's on the top of the bumper.

Would this work for an A4 B7 sline saloon?

Has anyone fitted LED bulbs to either their rear or brake lights?

Martin/Anyone else,

As one of my number plate bulbs has deceased i'm considering these LED replacememts. The website states that they will not work on an A4 B6, B7, TT or MY10 models. My car was delivered new at the beginning of Septmber 2009 so assumed it was a B8 but during the retro-fit fiasco of the AMI i was told that the car was a 2010 chassis. Does this mean that it is a MY10 and therefore these LED's will not work?

Any advice greatly appreciated.
