Which oil?

Can anyone reccomend me the exact oil for my Golf? It's a TD, engine code AAZ 55KW 75bhp. I cant make head nor tails of the handbook!

Also, is Castrol GTD Magnatec any good for my car?

As it's a non-pd pretty much any diesel oil will do. Personally I wouldn't bother spending a huge amount. I saw 1 litre of GTD magnatec in a shop a few days ago for £16!!! Try going to Halfords and having a look in their Oil directory thingy, then go somewhere else to get the oil cheaper.

Thanks. I ended up getting Castrol Magnatec Diesel 10W-40W. Think it's part synthetic. I was going to get some fully synthetic but when I looked at the price I thought better not! I got some decent oil as I do alot of miles and it's just a piece of mind havong good oil.
