:1zhelp: Hello, i've recently lost the only set of keys to my A4 and have had a chap off the internet to sort it. He came out after getting the cut code from Audi and after several hours managed to get the code out of the ecu chip as the one in the dash was encripted. He eventually after many hours managed to get the car started and posted the two new keys through my letter box with a bill of £220 to which I was delighted. When however I tried the remote the keyless entry did not work but using the key in the old fashioned way works fine. I've tried the various ways on this forum to program the remote but with no success, Can anyone help?:1zhelp:

If you pull the key in half, what is the part number on the main remote part of the key?

Do they have working batteries.

The central locking/convenience options on the B6 are more complicated than the earlier cars, and it is easier to set-up incorrectly.

If you have VAG-COM or similar you can check the soft coding in your 'Central Convenience' module.
