:aargh4:

Lo, anyone else get oil contamination in to the air filter?

I`ve had it in my V5 a couple of times and wonder if its anything to with why It`s sluggish / gutless at low revs.
( from time to time I`ve washed the MAF with fast drying solvent, seems to help with the running.)

Thx.

Must be a K&N :beerchug:

Seriously, the CCV should enter downstream from the filter and I cannot imagine what other source of oil there would be......

Ah,

Oil is coming from the rocker cover breather via a dodgy NRV...which in turn passes by the throttle body down the rubber hose to the air box.

I was`nt too clear before, tho I did read somewhere on here that after fitting a K&N panel filter- the oil got on the MAF and gubbed it.....:biglaugh: .

Cheers
