Hi I'm new to the forum and had a question. I have a SEAT Cordoba from 2007. While driving yesterday I noticed that the EPC, electronic control system and ESP warning lamps were all on while driving. Was wondering what it could be. I drove all the way home, about 300km, and they remained on although I didn't notice anything wrong with the car itself. This morning I had to use the car and it was the same. I don't have any knowledge when it comes to this and would appreciate any help or information.

Cheers

You need a fault code scan of the engine and ABS, it may just be a failed brake light switch but if your brake lights work, that does not mean the switch is OK as it has two outputs.

Thanks for that Crasher. Is the scan expensive, and is changing a failed brake light switch something I'd be able to do myself?

Thanks!

A scan can cost from £30 to £100 depending on where you go. The brake light switch is cheap (£10) but can be a little sod to fit without breaking it. Anyway, code read first.
