Audi A6 2006 2L tdi its a friend of a friends car, was hit on the front passenger side a few months back, after buying the car back of the insurance company and getting the body work sorted out in the body shop / auto spark (who gave up trying to get the car started) I have now got the head ache!:D

New drivers side airbag etc.. and module fitted and the connection at the battery. Engine will turn over but wont fire up - will start on a tow but wont rev up.

Fault codes are: -

16627, 19557,18080,17903,17996,19794,19462,19460,00285 & P1826

also the onboard car computer is bleeping and saying ESP fail, I tried output testing the abs pump but it doesnt seem to be working (no noise), the wiring under the wing at the passenger side was repaired at the auto sparks (havent looked at this yet).

Also there is no horn.

So my question is - is the abs pump, causing faults or should I be looking at replacing the wiring loom first off?

I think you need to get vag-com to check it mate.. i know on vw's abs pumps are a common fault internally.. hope that helps a little ..

the unlisted codes are to do with pressure to the injectors. I spent a bit of time looking at it yesterday and I think its a wiring fault somewhere, so a new loom maybe needed to replace the damaged (now repaired - badly by the other guy) going to the abs pump running along the passenger wing.
