How did you get negotiate 17,069 from a list price of 20,500-ish?

Anyway, thanks for the pics and great choice.

I do love the monochrome black and white DIS, better than the red on my MK5 ;) but no grab handles near the ashtray anymore would mean I would get thrown around when the mrs is driving lol.

Nice car though- hope you enjoy!

You are right about the central grab handles, I really like the seats in the GT though, they keep you in place and are comfortable at the same time.

No negotiation required, went through DealDrivers and used the extra £2k scrappage allowance. Exact current list price for this car is £21,180! Glad I didn't have to pay that!

Apart from the headrests. Can't believe that there is no tilt adjustment on them

Is there no cover for the ashtray on the mk6 golfs?

There is, it sort of 'folds' up.

Looks very nice in grey mate.

They didn't give you much fuel...unless you've used most of it in 32 miles:eek:

Thanks. When they delivered it it had 8 miles on the clock and 1/4 of a tank as they said it would at ordering stage.

Got other problems now with it namely a bogus low tyre pressure warning that won't go away and that I can't reset as there's no button, and a creaky driver's seat! Going to pay a visit to my local VW on Saturday I think.
