Hi, i have a MK2 golf 1.6 driver 1990. Its been on and off the road for 3 years now and when starting it again i don't ever have a problem. when putting it back on the road this time after 3 months, i charged the battery and went for a drive. Once i stopped i went to start it again and i heard a small pop, as if it was coming from the fuse box. now when ever it turn the ignition the battery cuts out, also when i put my foot on the break or turn the head lights on the battery also cuts out. When i turn the heater or hazards on there is a ticking coming from the fuse box.
I spoke to a few people and they reckon its Terminal 30 on the relay/fuse box. does anyone know what i need to buy or replace? i'm currently working away so i cant have a good look at the fuse box to see what i need to replace so if anyone knows what i need to get to get my car going again that would be great. thanks
