Stylance 2.0 TDI 2007 electrical

Hi All and thanks for reading this and a bigger thanks if you can help.

I have just fitted a witter detacheable towbar and have come to the electrics.
Does anybody know the wiring layout. I am fitting a 13 pin socket with the split charger.
Do i need a bypass relay for this car...some say yes...some say no.

Is it better to go to the left rear side or the right when running the cables.

All help greatly appreciated.

i bought a factory kit for mine and it mostly plugs in to exsisting loom sockets especially for lights
