It is not a paint job..its a wrap and costs about £1500-£1800.
It's also gross

There is a mercedes CL in birmingham with this chrome wrap on it as well, but i just think it looks real tacky, but the good thing is that you can just have it peeled off to reveal the true colour!

There is a mercedes CL in birmingham with this chrome wrap on it as well, but i just think it looks real tacky, but the good thing is that you can just have it peeled off to reveal the true colour!

There was a Murcie like that round here, but from upclose you could see it had been wrapped which totally defeats the point IMO.

Enjoyed the YouTube vid immensely. I like the chrome look but can understand why others don't.

Really not a fan of the chrome look. Seen a lot of cars with it now, the problem is it just turns it into a mirror! It's not too bad if your out in the country, with nice things to reflect. But when your on a dirty street/city centre, you just end up looking rubbish. Literally!

Elton John had 2 R8s chromed for a charity auction - raised £600k+.
One of them was on Autotrader last month about £70k - Chrome depreciates a bit then? :biglaugh:
