What a fantastic response the the age of the average Audi B8 driver, I am also interested in finding out what people do.

PS I'm an Occupational Hygiene Consultant.....google it....;)

Retired RAF aircrew, now occasionally work on an oil rig as a radio operator (max 2 trips a year), also part time bookkeeper in my own business. Officially I am semi retired!

Thats 6 to drive my car every 10...

We manufacture all the cell call, General Alarm and Fire alarms for Prisons!

So as not to actually name the establishment (unless you want to!!) where abouts are you based?...........;)

Nevermind that, I can now pretend I pilot a 747 and get away with it. I would have thought I needed an Ferrari or an Aston Martin before I could say that to a bird!

I dunno, my parent's neighbour is a BA pilot and he drives something fairly boring and sensible. Then again, he also owns a scary acrobatic flying death machine so I guess he gets his kicks elsewhere :)

I bought my B7 off a RAF guy, are they a popular car to get in the forces then? Do you get tax relief on them, or do you need to be posted abroad for that?

Oh and I haven't got a B8 yet, but I am a Construction Engineer for BAM Nuttall.

Doh!! I could have popped in for tea. I spent a long morning on my motorbike all around there today. Can I ask you to lodge a complaint for me? I didn't see a single plane land or take off whilst I was stretching my legs!! :mad:

Bit of a flying theme developing.....I ended up as a Chartered Surveyor, then PM/Development Manager but would dearly have loved to have been a pilot.

Must dash, this A4 is about to transport WW2 Bomber Command veterans to an aviation event at Elvington..:D

I am also an OCD car cleaner.

Can't help it and I have come to terms with it!

All stems from being a Classic car nut with 3 classics to look after.......... old fashioned cellulose paint just repsonds soooooooo well to a good polish!
