Hello all, my 2002 passat is on 90k miles and I don't think it's ever been serviced, so I thought it might be time to do so.

Had a look at cambelt and seems fine which is good, but for the life of me I cannot find any information on costs for servicing.

When I go on the Audi website, it displays prices for everything which is good, will VW be the same? if not could I take my car to Audi instead??

Also does anyone knows what's included in a Major & interim service? is a cambelt change included in a major service?

My cambelt was done for £100 at VW. Don't get excited though as the car was having the water pump replaced under warranty, so they offered me a cambelt change whilst they were doing it.

Best thing is to just phone VW and ask the price for a cambelt/major service :beerchug:

How can you have run a car for 90k miles without changing the oil and filters etc?

I always do this every 10k miles, and have never had problems.

I know my local Audi Dealer will do the same work on VW's for the prices quoted on the website, in fact my Polo is going in to them next Thursday on their night shift.
