Hi, Audi Bedford tries to convince me that lack of this plastic part is part of design, I bought the car from them without this part (approved used car ) and after when I proved that car was without this part before, they saying that it part of design , see left side is without and right with - so my question is - Am I right and they tries to fob me off or They right and this is part of design ??

A 2 litre petrol turbo model then. That is correct, the right shows the Secondary Air System pump and the left shows the intercooler.

This is 2.0 TDI 2006, should be this uncovered and open for any stones etc ???

Still correct, it was just that the pulsation damper looked like a secondary air pump in that picture.

One Audi MasterTech said to me that this part is included in the trim of this car as system showed, other one (not directly to me) said that this is part of design.Well for me it's to big hole to be part of design, also at vagcat.com schemat it seem that part is ptesent. You said that part of design - do you have any prove if I may ask? nemerkh this part cost £9 + vat and I ordered.
Thanks

Hi,

I just dug out a picture of my old 2005 A6 2.0 TDi, and you can see mine was enclosed on both sides. Maybe it's because it was an S-Line not an SE?

I will have to eat humble pie here, I get your car as having grill 4F0 807 682 D 01C with 4F0 807 246 01C going behind it, described as “cover, cooling air grill-right, for cars with the BRE engine” so according to ETKA, something is missing.

I was going to say this is normal.

Obviously not.

Although my PD130 does have 1 trim on one side, and doesn't have one on the other.

Anyone else got a PD130 to confirm it? ;)
