My 09 Golf has only 600 miles on the clock and I have noticed that when going over speed humps, the front suspension makes a hydraulic hissing sound, you the sound of oil being pushed through at high pressure?

Though the rear makes no sound. Is this due to the its newness???

My MK5 does this too and it is on 30000 miles, I've put it down to the design of the suspension.

I think it's normal to hear a slight hiss as I think it's just compression.

It's probably the hiss of the dragon under the bonnet :D
