Hi guys,
The heater radiator in my Seat Toledo has started leaking.http://www.seatforum.com/images/smilies/frown.gif
I have a spare but i need to know what is the easiest way of getting this part out?

Do i have to take the dash out? Or can i get at it any other way?http://www.seatforum.com/images/smilies/confused.gif

If i have to take the dash out, how do i go about doing that?http://www.seatforum.com/images/smilies/confused.gif

Regards,

Damien

I have never done the matrix on a Toledo 1 but it is a Golf 3 style system (most of the parts are the same) and the entire dash has to come out including discharging the air con system if one is fitted. A Golf 3 would take me just over a day to do; it is a very big job. I would strongly advise you not to use a second hand matrix and to only buy a new matrix from a Seat dealer as that way you are covered by a 2 year labour inclusive warranty.

Do you know how to take out the dash? I do not know where the bolts for it are?
I have looked from the engine side and there is only 3 bolts holding the heater radiator. But there is no bolts apparent to hold the dash?

I have never done one but the bolts you can see in the engine bay oar the heater box fastenings and the dash has to come out first.
