I've just been to Brighton and back for a long weekend. Took it gently, going at 70mph much of the way and got a very impressive 58mpg on the computer - not bad for such a big old car, thanks no doubt to a recent service.
The problem I have though is that it's hesitant at accelerating, especially uphill. Does anyone have any ideas what could be the cause? Part of me thinks it could be fouled up injectors or a build up of carbon. There's no excessive black soot since the service was done. The car's done 173,000 miles.
