Brake pad warning light

Hi all..long story short.. audi a6 2.5 tdi 1996..had new spring front drivers side,unpluged sensor under the bonet as not to brake it, now brake warning light comes on when cold and doesent after a long run..pads look good and its never happend before..thanks for any advice in advance... scott

check the wiring from pads to the inner wing

wiring also failes where it crosses the car behind the front bumper on this model
