Can someone with a similar specification car tell me what rpm their gearbox changes up at (casual pull-away - not stamping on the loud pedal).

Thanks, richard

Richard

Obviously it varies, but round town built up areas 30-40mph, I hardly know 1st exists as it shifts to 2nd around 1100rpm sometimes less.

I've only have mine a week so still getting used to it but loving every min I get to drive it.

Thank you (relatively new owner myself) :)

What about through the rest of the gears?

Again at average/leisurely pace seems to change up at 1900rpm. When I turn up the volume with my right foot it seems to like 3rd.. upto 3000rpm.

Really does seem to vary quite alot as it should..! A couple of times its caught me out by doing something unexpected but I am really used to manual so I think its me rather than the box, plus there's always the flappy paddles to flick it into the gear you want it in.:D

I do alot of driving in country lanes, sometimes it takes a little longer than i would like to select the right gear after a very brief stop or slow to a crawl but again its me getting used to it rather than an issue with the box.

Thanks; seems to be same as mine - first auto so not sure what to quite expect. And yes, playing with the paddles is fun on the twisty stuff :)

It also varies between a cold start up and once it has warmed up; different engine cycle... :-)
