Could someone give me an idea as to what may be wrong. The car is a 1999 Seat Ibiza 1.4 and has been stood on the drive for 2 years without being started. When it was parked up, it was working fine and now simply wont start. I think it has something to do with the fuel as it tries to start, but wont actually fire. When I have taken the cover off and poured neat fuel in to the carb, it fired up and then obviously ran out after a few seconds. So, is it likely to be a fuel blockage, problem with the fuel, problem with the filter or the fuel pump? How would I go about checking that fuel is getting through? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.:beerchug:
