Seat Leon 1.8 20v se

Car missfires sometimes (judders / lack of power) then drives ok for a bit. This mainly happens when accerlerating and when starting.

TCS light on????

Also getting a clicking noise coming from the footwell? which coinsides when the missfire.

Friend had an old Diagnostic tool which suggested engine coolant ranger performance error?

Would love any advice (maf? coils? sensor)

Cheers

coolant temp sender should not cause judder etc
check coils

Cheers, I'll give that a try first. The car does hesitate under throttle but then runs fine for a bit.

When checking the coils, do I just replace one at a time or the whole lot?
